Whenever I travel I always have my camera on hand. I never know what I'll encounter. The American landscape is filled with a richness of imagery that is perplexing as it is beautiful. It's the duality of American life that fascinates me. We are a culture of vast diversity and each place I visit, whether it be a small town in the middle of the desert or a crowded, confusing metropolis, never ceases to pique my interest.

Many of the images in this Journeys portfolio remain mysteries to me. I'm attracted to the mundane and the visually stimulating scenes I see when I travel. I've yet to figure out why I've taken some of these images. I know some of the most obscure images are also the most compelling.
